According to investigators, David was driving a Honda Accord southbound on Country Club Road when he lost control of the vehicle, struck a curb, and crashed into a business located on the southwest corner of the intersection. Authorities have stated that he was not wearing a seatbelt and was traveling at a speed significantly above the posted 35 mph limit. While impairment is not suspected, excessive speed and loss of control are believed to be major contributing factors in the crash.
