In Loving Memory of Kristy Alger
The Berkeley County community is mourning the sudden and tragic loss of Kristy Alger, a 46-year-old resident of Falling Waters, West Virginia, who passed away following a single-vehicle crash on December 18, 2025.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. in the 9300 block of Williamsport Pike. Deputy Keller responded to reports of a passenger vehicle that had struck a tree. Emergency personnel discovered Kristy unresponsive inside her black Nissan Altima, which had left the roadway prior to the collision. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by deputies and emergency medical personnel, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kristy was cherished by family, friends, and her community for her kindness, warmth, and compassionate spirit. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, and she will be remembered for the love and care she showed throughout her life.
Sergeant Ritchie of the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a crash reconstruction as part of the ongoing investigation. Kristy’s next of kin were notified and responded to the scene, and authorities continue to gather details surrounding the tragic event.
As the community grieves, thoughts and condolences go out to Kristy’s family and friends. Her life, though cut tragically short, leaves behind enduring memories of generosity, laughter, and the countless ways she touched the lives of those who knew her.
