On the night of December 20, 2025, deputies responded to a medical aid call at a residence on Bonanza Road in Adelanto. Inside the home, Tyreek and Shyla were found suffering from gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators later determined the incident to be a murder-suicide. While the investigation has provided answers about what occurred, it cannot ease the pain felt by those who loved them.
Tyreek Moore was a young man with his life ahead of him, filled with potential, goals, and dreams yet to be realized.
