In Loving Memory of Noah J. Lindsey

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we remember Noah J. Lindsey, a 25-year-old resident of Pendleton, whose life was tragically cut short on the morning of December 22 in Umatilla County. Noah was fatally struck while attempting to cross Interstate 84 near milepost 207 in Pendleton, an event that has left family, friends, and the wider community grieving an unimaginable loss.

According to the Oregon State Police, the incident occurred at approximately 7:50 a.m., when Noah was struck by an eastbound Kenworth commercial motor vehicle and trailer. Despite emergency response efforts, Noah was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was reportedly not injured. The interstate remained impacted for several hours as authorities conducted a thorough on-scene investigation, a somber pause that reflected the gravity of the loss felt that morning.

Noah was more than a name in a report or a statistic in a tragic incident. He was a young man with a future ahead of him—one filled with hopes, relationships, and dreams that will now remain unfulfilled. Those who knew Noah remember him as someone whose presence mattered, whose life had meaning, and whose absence will be deeply felt. At just 25 years old, he was at an age where life is still unfolding, where possibilities are wide open, making this loss all the more painful.

This tragedy serves as a solemn reminder of how fragile life can be and how quickly everything can change. As the community mourns Noah’s passing, thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones as they navigate this heartbreaking time. No words can truly ease the pain of such a sudden loss, but collective compassion and remembrance can offer some measure of comfort.

May Noah J. Lindsey be remembered for who he was beyond this tragic moment, and may his memory live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, Noah. You are gone far too soon, but you will not be forgotten. 🕊️
