In Loving Memory of Jordan Perry Gone Too Soon, Forever Remembered

The Boone County community, along with loved ones in Greenwood and beyond, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 21-year-old Jordan Perry, whose life was tragically cut short in a fatal single-vehicle crash on November 29, 2025. What began as an ordinary late afternoon quickly turned into an unimaginable tragedy—one that has left family, friends, and an entire community searching for comfort in the wake of such a profound loss.

At approximately 5:09 PM, Boone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of US 421 and County Road 100 N, where reports indicated a vehicle had veered off the roadway. When first responders arrived, they found a blue pickup truck that had slid off the road in what officials described as weather-related conditions. The truck struck a tree with significant force before catching fire, leaving the scene both devastating and chaotic. Despite swift and heroic efforts from emergency crews, the driver—later identified as Jordan Perry of Greenwood, Indiana—sustained critical injuries.

Jordan was immediately transported to a local hospital, but despite the attempts of medical professionals, she was tragically pronounced deceased shortly after arriving. News of her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew her, and grief now hangs heavy over the communities connected to her life and journey.

Jordan Perry was more than just the victim of a tragic crash—she was a vibrant young woman with dreams, passions, and a future filled with promise. At only twenty-one, she had already touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, and caring spirit. Whether through her friendships, family bonds, or the simple joy she brought to everyday moments, Jordan carried a light that others gravitated toward. Those who loved her describe her as compassionate, thoughtful, hardworking, and someone who always found a way to lift the spirits of the people around her.

Her absence is felt deeply by her family, who now face the unimaginable pain of losing a daughter far too soon. Friends are left holding onto cherished memories—laughs shared, milestones celebrated, and moments that now feel even more meaningful in retrospect. Jordan’s life, though far too short, made a lasting impact, and that impact will continue to be felt in the hearts she touched.

The Boone County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team (FACT) has taken over the investigation, as is standard protocol in fatal accidents. Authorities will continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash, and more details will be shared as the investigation progresses. For now, the focus remains on honoring Jordan’s memory and supporting the loved ones who are navigating unimaginable grief.

As the community comes together to mourn this tragic loss, they also take time to celebrate Jordan’s life—her laughter, her dreams, her spirit, and the bright legacy she leaves behind. Though she is no longer physically here, her memory will continue to echo in every life she touched.

Rest in peace, Jordan Perry.

Your journey ended far too soon, but your light will never be forgotten.

May your memory live on in love, in strength, and in the hearts of all who knew you.
