At approximately 2:10 a.m., first responders arrived at the residence after receiving reports of an emergency. Inside, they discovered Rebecca lying on the living room floor, suffering from multiple stab wounds and a gunshot wound. Despite the rapid response of emergency personnel, there was nothing that could be done. Rebecca was pronounced deceased at 2:31 a.m. by the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.
