Tragedy on Interstate 70: Zanesville Man Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash
Muskingum County is grieving following a devastating three-vehicle crash that claimed the life of 45-year-old Todd McVicker, a Zanesville resident whose Tuesday evening commute ended in tragedy. The crash occurred around 5:48 p.m. on Interstate 70 in Washington Township, bringing a heartbreaking close to what began as an ordinary day.
According to authorities, Todd was traveling westbound on I-70 when, for reasons still under investigation, his vehicle crossed the median and entered the eastbound lanes. In a violent, unavoidable collision, Todd’s vehicle struck a semi-truck driven by 35-year-old Habtom Teweldebrhan of Blacklick. The force of the impact sent debris flying across the roadway, striking a third vehicle operated by 30-year-old Christian Vicich of Pleasant City.
