In Loving Memory of Carol Ziert
It is with deep sorrow that we remember Carol Ziert, an 80-year-old resident of Culver, whose life was tragically cut short on Sunday evening, December 28, following a two-vehicle crash in Argos. Carol passed away at 8:12 p.m. at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth, surrounded by the care of medical professionals who worked tirelessly to save her.
According to the Marshall County Coroner’s Office, the collision occurred at the intersection of U.S. 31 and State Road 10. Carol was driving a 2024 Nissan passenger car westbound on State Road 10 when she entered the path of a southbound vehicle traveling on U.S. 31. Emergency responders arrived promptly, and Carol was transported to Plymouth Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Marshall County Deputy Coroner John Lampkins determined that her passing was the result of multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident, with additional details to be released.
