According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Hunter was driving his pickup along Alabama Highway 171 near the 20-mile marker, approximately 20 miles north of Northport, when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Tragically, Hunter was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries. First responders arrived on the scene but were unable to save him.
