Heavy fog reduced visibility along the roadway as Jesse traveled east on his motorcycle. In those difficult conditions, he was unable to safely navigate a curve, leaving the roadway and striking a metal pole. The impact threw him from the motorcycle, causing fatal injuries. Jesse was transported to CHRISTUS Spohn Shoreline Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His family has since been notified, and the incident remains under investigation by DPS troopers in Corpus Christi.
