In Loving Memory of Nash Douglas Berry

On the evening of December 11, a devastating wrong-way crash on Interstate 15 in Las Vegas claimed the life of 20-year-old Nash Douglas Berry and left several others injured. Nevada State Police reported that the collision occurred just before 7 p.m. near the I-15 and Charleston Boulevard interchange, north of the northbound I-11 HOV ramp. What began as a routine drive for many quickly turned into a tragic and life-altering event.

According to investigators, Nash was driving a 2006 Honda Accord southbound in the northbound lanes of I-15. A Tesla and a Chevrolet Tahoe encountered the vehicle and attempted to avoid a collision, but both were unable to do so. The Honda struck the Tesla, while the Chevrolet Tahoe crashed into a wall. The chain reaction continued as Nash’s vehicle collided with a Ford Bronco, a Nissan Altima, and a Toyota Camry, involving at least five vehicles in total.

Nash Douglas Berry was pronounced deceased at the scene. Three other individuals were transported to area hospitals, two in serious condition and one with minor injuries. While no further updates have been released on those hospitalized, the emotional impact of the crash continues to resonate throughout the community.

At just 20 years old, Nash’s life ended far too soon. Beyond the headlines and investigative reports, he was a young man with a future ahead of him and people who cared deeply about him.
