On December 3, 2025, at approximately 10:25 p.m., St. Louis County police officers from the North County Precinct were dispatched to the 12400 block of Horizon Village Drive after a ShotSpotter activation alerted authorities to gunfire in the area. Arriving officers discovered two adult males inside a vehicle, both suffering from severe gunshot wounds. One of the victims, Nasscar Taeeb, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, but tragically, he too succumbed to those injuries and was later pronounced deceased.

News of Nasscar’s passing has left a void that words struggle to fill.
