In Loving Memory of Porshia Williams
It is with deep sorrow that we remember Porshia Williams, 34, of Richmond, whose life was tragically taken on the evening of December 28, 2025, in a devastating incident on Hull Street Road. Porshia’s passing leaves a profound void for her family, friends, and the entire Richmond community, as a vibrant life full of promise was cut far too short.
According to the Richmond Police Department, officers were initially called to the 2700 block of Hull Street Road for a reported domestic disturbance around 8:57 p.m. The call was quickly upgraded to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered Porshia unresponsive inside a structure, having suffered an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the official cause and manner of death.
Porshia was cherished by those who knew her. She was a source of light, kindness, and compassion, and her presence enriched the lives of everyone around her. Her loss is felt deeply by family and friends, leaving behind memories of laughter, love, and shared moments that will forever be treasured.
Detectives with the Richmond Police Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate and are seeking information regarding a known male believed to have been at the scene.
