The Whitley County community and all who knew him are mourning the sudden and tragic loss of Vincent Ramos, 32, of Adrian, Michigan, who passed away on Monday evening after being struck by multiple vehicles on US 24. Vincent’s life was abruptly cut short, leaving family, friends, and the community in deep sorrow.
According to the Indiana State Police, the incident occurred around 6:45 p.m., west of County Road S 800 E. Initial investigations revealed that, for reasons still unknown, Vincent walked into the roadway and was struck sequentially by an SUV, a car, and a pickup truck traveling westbound. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but tragically, Vincent was pronounced dead at the scene. The Whitley County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity and notified his family, who are now grappling with this heartbreaking loss. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
